Imola, Italy circuit details
The Imola track returned to the calendar in 2020. It is one of the few F1 circuits that is run anti-clockwise. For 2024 some of the gravel traps were brought closer to the track to encourage drivers to stay within track limits.

Race winner: Max VerstappenRed Bull Max Verstappen won from pole position but was pushed hard by Lando Norris who finished less than 1 second behind Verstappen. Charles Leclerc was third for Ferrari.
2023
Race winner: The race was cancelled due to severe adverse weather conditions.
2022
Race winner: Max VerstappenRed Bull Max Verstappen won the sprint race to take pole position in the main race whilst both Mercedes failed to get in to Q3 of qualifying. The race started on a wet track with the cars on intermediate tyres. Max Verstappen took a comfortable win ahead of his team mate Sergio Perez and Charles Leclerc was in a comfortable third place, but a mistake meant an extra pit stop to replace the nose leaving him sixth. Lando Norris had another good result in third for McLaren.
2021
Race winner: Lewis HamiltonMercedes Lewis Hamilton took pole in a dry qualifying, but in a wet start Max Verstappen took the lead on the second corner and went on to a comfortable win. Behind him Lewis Hamilton made a mistake meaning he had to stop for a new nose but recovered to finish second. Lando Norris had a strong race to finish third for McLaren.
